RIP - Evelyn Keyes

Another actress from the Golden Age has passed away. She was 91. Her full obit is here.

While not a household name among the general public, she appeared in a lot of films that were popular including GONE WITH THE WIND and a host of noirs. Years later she made the obligatory guest appearance on MURDER SHE WROTE. Her private life was certainly not boring with a host of very famous husbands and lovers.

RIP.

Re: RIP - Evelyn Keyes

Yes, the alive Golden Age list is getting quite smaller, but at least she lived a long and eventful life. I always liked her, especially in the films she did with Columbia and Glenn Ford. One of my favorites was "Mr. Soft Touch" which I haven't seen in many years, but the ending of that film always stuck with me. May she R.I.P.
