Due to the economy, I'm forced to sell off some of my home theater.

I'm selling a JVC DLA-G150CL Projector.
The current lamp has 400 hours on it, and is rated for 1000 hours.
Included in the sale is the lens (which runs 2K - 5K), a new bulb ($700) and a peerless ceiling mount ($300).

This projector retails for $12,000 and has an MSRP of $17,500

I'm asking $1500 OBO plus shipping.

Come on guys (and girls), this isn't the "I want a cheap home theater forum". This is a forum for people who understand the cost of quality equipment, and this is a top of the line projector.

Can't I even get a "You're crazy that price is too high, what are you thinking?"

Or a "I wish I could buy that, but I can only afford $XXXX"

I need the money and am motivated to sell, all offers will be considered.

I apologize for suggesting that you should break the rules, I'm just eager to get a response and even one like that would mean someone's interested.

I'm a big believer that a deal can't be made unless there are two people communicating. To think that my price is fixed is crazy. If I find someone who is local and can pick up the item, as an example, why wouldn't I discount the item the amount it would have cost me to ship it?

Your items are only worth what someone is willing to may for them.

You can't insult me, make an offer.

Can anyone tell me if my price for this projector is reasonable?

I checked around and it seems like the going rate for this projector, but I'm wondering why there is no movement on the board.

Is anyone interested in this projector, forget the price, simply interested?
