Has this Image disc gone out-of-print and is it worth tracking down a used copy on eBay or would I do better a/v-wise waiting for a re-release?

Thanks.

Re: What's Up, Tiger Lily?

One of the few movies that the title can be taken in one of 2 ways! Not sure which way they wanted the title to be taken but still a fun movie.

...retired at last!!!

Re: What's Up, Tiger Lily?

I have that one on VHS. I regret not buying the DVD when it was available. Very funny film with awesome Lovin' Spoonful tunes.

Re: What's Up, Tiger Lily?

Doesn't the DVD have two different versions of the dub track? I don't have it in front of me but I seem to remember that.

Re: What's Up, Tiger Lily?

It does have both dubs. IIRC, it also has a nifty feature comparing the differences if you don't want to be constantly switching back and forth.

The soundtrack was reissued on CD several years ago as well.

Re: What's Up, Tiger Lily?

So is the consensus that I should track down the OOP disc?

It holds up quality-wise all around?

Yes, it has both the theatrical release dub and the TV (alternate) version dub. There's also an "audio comparison" option where you can manually compare the differences between the versions in about two dozen scenes.

And don't forget the easter egg (remember those?) for the "secret" Green Chile Egg Salad recipe!
