) have been retained (thank The Maker!). However, one notable change on said Cinema Classics version is that the audio essay "The Historical Patton" by historian Charles Province runs only 53 minutes, when it ran a full 81 minutes on the earliest DVD release (this one:
). So which version of the audio essay do we get on the new Blu-ray, with all of its copious storage space? The 53 minute edited-down one...bleh. So if you have the SD of the Cinema Classics version, sell it and pick up the Blu-ray; but if you're a completist, don't sell off the original DVD release...
