Sitting Distance from a Screen/Projector

I am putting in a gray wolf II screen 92" or 106" and a optoma HD803 projector...what is the optimal sitting distance from the screen? 15FT etc...I do not want to feel like I am in the front row at a movie theater.

About 1.5 X screen width. With the 106" diagonal, seating distance would be about 11.5'. But you may prefer to sit farther back like I do. I sit 15' back from my 106" diagonal screen.

It really depends on the resolution of the projector. You can sit much closer to a 1080p image than a 720p or less. Here's a basic chart that gives the optimum by distance/resolution:
