I see this as a more of a price cut for the DVDs than a price increase for the BDs. Now, if a BD goes over $39.95 when the DVD stays at $39.95 I'd agree that it's going back on their word. Considering I expected Criterion BDs to be $49.95-$59.95 before they first announced them I'm not complaining, personally (especially since the discount on Amazon.com regularly brings the price down to $25).
