Layer change...anyone else have this happen?

I was watching an old musical on DVD this weekend ("Bloodhounds of Broadway"). When it reached the layer change (between chapters 20 and 21), it paused for an inordinate amount of time, then skipped forward to chapter 22. As I immediately noticed it, I went back to chapter 20, and replayed it...several times. It correctly went straight to the next chapter. What would have caused this one time error? The player? The disc?

Anyone else have this happen to them?

One time error - dust or a skip. Frequent error - bad disk or really dirty laser lens in the player.

I've had a couple "chapter jumps" on an older player....but not during a layer change.
