So as I mentioned in the other thread, I received my MBP today. I've been playing with some images, and am confused about how OS X stores the images. I downloaded the Aperture 2.0 trial, and also was playing around with iPhoto. I imported some photos from my camera initially into iPhoto, but also in Aperture. I was going through them in iPhoto, deleting the ones I didn't like - most of them
, but noticed they still existed in Aperture. Does this mean that if I import photos into both pieces of software, I effectively have two copies of the photo on my computer, wasting HD space? What's the best way to manage my pictures if I want to use iPhoto to look at images, and Aperture to make adjustments?
