I had started this piece in November of 2007, but had taken a break that lasted until earlier this year.
As you're well aware of, I was an active participant in a "Babes Of The 80s" thread on this forum until I accidentally irritated one of the women on my list, actress Kelli Maroney. We've made up since then, but my distress caused me to delete all my posts in that thread.
I eventually decided to resurrect my 80s women article for RetroJunk. I listed a whole bunch of my favorite women from the decade and talked about the reasons why I liked them.
Here's a link to the article:
Some Of My Fave 80s Women | Article
It took several months, but it's finally been posted.
Give it a read and tell me what you think.
Sincerely,
John Kilduff...
It is a big article, so you don't have to read it all in one sitting.

Kelli didn't make the list?

I had forgotten to include her...There were a lot of women I forgot to mention. I don't hate any of them...I just tend to have a lot of things on my mind, and sometimes ideas get lost.
Just because I didn't include Kelli on the list doesn't mean that I don't like her. I truly and honestly do like her.

I could do a part 2...Thanks for the idea. It would take a while to write, though.

Nice article. (Of course, I agree with most of your selections, so there isn't much to quibble about.

) I'm another one who had no idea that Robey was a singer, or paid any attention to "One Night in Bangkok", but developed a serious crush on her thanks to
Friday the 13th: The Series.

Oddly enough I can't seem to find a
good color picture of her to show off her amazing hair.

Joe
