My EZ Pass transponder came with this thick double sided tape from 3M that seems really strong. Does anybody have a clue where to get this at a reasonable price if any? I'm not spending a fortune but I need to glue/stick my crossover in my car's door panel in such a way that I can't use a screw and a bracket. When I first installed my JLA speakers and amp, I just used basic commercial double sided tape to mount my crossover in the panel. I'd like to use a screw and a bracket but the way it's mounted to the removable door panel and not to the door itself, if I used a screw, I'd either have a screw head visible or the screw point visible in the cabin which would not be good. So I originally tried just basic double sided foam pads and glue on the edges but it eventually fell off and would rattle over bumps.
Now, I'm looking at something stronger and perhaps using a glue gun or something to glue the crossover to the panel. the crossover is a clear plastic (not lexan) and the door panel is a plastic formed thing. Any recommendations that isn't going to break the bank, obviously don't need much...
