Knowing CC, they'll probably stock 1 copy of the 2-disc and 20 of the 1-disc, so most folks won't have the choice anyway.
BTW, Costco also has a Sweeney Todd exclusive, a hardcover behind-the-scenes book. At least I *think* it was Sweeney Todd.

True, that.
There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

THAT is a market I have never come close to understanding. I agree with you 100%, Dave. I would think many people who might watch a movie on a PSP can also probably download that movie onto their iPod. Since movies are incidentals to the game-console-at-hand, I would think "affordable" would move a lot more units. I'll be surprised if it's a format that lasts much longer.
But, as I said, I don't really understand the market.

Given my experience with the 2-disc of "The Mist" at CC, their online price does not always match their in-store price. That week, they had the 2-disc priced at $19.99 online, but it rang up at $24.99 regular price in the store. They did end matching the web price, though, after I brought it to their attention.

Their flyer this week sure makes it look like they mean $15.99 for the 2-discer of Walk Hard. They could argue the point, but based on usual techniques, the flyer would lead me to believe that the on-line pricing situation is correct.
I am anxious for someone to report-in who has been to CC today.

Kevin: The 2-disc Walk Hard was $16.99? Same as the 1-disc @ Target?

How odd this is.
It would be nice if all studios decided to do this kind of pricing with their 2-disc "SEs".
Wonder why this title went down this way?

Barnes and Noble are having an ONLINE ONLY DVD sale starting today (04/10). The Perry Mason set is only $29.99! There are "thousands of titles" on sale, while quantities last. Other volumes of PM are on sale for $23.99 if you need to pick any up. There's no expiration date given, just a "this sale may be withdrawn at any time" disclaimer.
