No warning from Stockholm, no menu. It was like a laser disc.

Watched Clint Eastwood's
True Crime (1999) last night and was really surprise that, after the WB logo, the film commenced. Are there many other discs that do this?
After the film, the international threats began, then the menu. There are extras, including a Diana Krall video.
I wish this was the norm.

Re: DVD tray closed and movie started!
A lot of early DVDs, particularly Warner are this way, as I recall. One in particular I know of is Body Snatchers, but I'm sure there are many others.
They flutter behind you, your possible pasts.

That would be current Warner discs. FTR, on Warner HD titles, you do get the FBI warning before the movie starts.
