Speakers for Denon 1508

I got a Denon 1508 at Best Buy for 249.99 (after negotiating with the sales people for about half an hour)

I'm looking for some speakers around $300 to go with it.

The people at BB offered to get me the Klipch Quintet for $399, but that comes with no sub.

I've been looking at the Polk RM6750 for $199 at Fry's.

Any suggestions?

I'm going to move this to the Speakers forum where you will probably get a better response.

Thanks Adam.

So now I think I'll just forget about the Polk speakers, return the Denon AVR1508 and get an Onkyo HT SP904 HTIB at Fry's for $549... Am I better off with the Onkyo system???

I want something decent but affordable to match with my Samsung 40" 1080P LCD (4061f), my 360 Elite and a satellite box.

Sorry that I'm constantly changing my mind here, but this purchase can be quite difficult and confusing for someone with little to no prior experience with home theaters.

I had no idea negotiate and best buy could be positively said in the same sentence.

All those prices are pretty good. But if you decide to return the Denon, you might want to look at the Onkyo HT-800. It doesn't come with a dvd player but it has a slightly better receiver and the speakers are a little better. But they're also a bit bigger so not as flat panel friendly as the 904's. And the 800 is about $150 less than the 904. Just a thought.
