I have the set stated in the title and have owned it for a little over a year. I do use it quite a bit.
Lately I have noticed the picture alternates between normal brightness and a dimmer view. Sometimes it is fast to produce an almost shimmer affect. Other times it is slower so you can see clearly that it is alternating between normal brightness and dimmer. And sometimes, it plays uniformly. Prior to this experience, the TV worked flawlessly. It happens on all inputs so it is definitly the TV. It seems too soon for it to be the lamp but I guess it is possible. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Hopefully my explanation is clear. Suggestions are welcome. It is under extended warranty so if there is a problem, I can have it repaired. Thanks for any help you can provide.
