Would anybody buy a Historical Thrillers DVD box from Sony?

Possible films:
BLACK BOOK/REIGN OF TERROR, Mann, 1949. Apparently Sony has nice 35mm elements.
A STUDY IN TERROR, 1965
BRIGAND OF KANDAHAR
SCARLET BLADE
SIEGE OF THE SAXONS
BLACK ARROW, 1952

Re: Historical Thrillers Sony DVD box anyone?

Anthony Mann's REIGN OF TERROR/THE BLACK BOOK is probably the most important film that needs to be released under any circumstances and in any context frpm the pd hell to which it has been consigned. I'm amazed that a decent print of this Eagle-Lion films actually exists. A couple of years ago, MGM/UA/Sony/Fox/Tom Cruise/Whatever released a superb pre-pd print of HE WALKED BY NIGHT (another noir also starring Richard Basehart). WB has someterrific historical noirs that merit release: THE TALL TARGET and THE MAN IN A CLOAK.

I would, even though it would be a blind buy for me.
