Ok i need some advice recently my 4 year old STR-K740P went out. So i am in need of a new receiver. I have a 32in hd tv capable of 1080i with a PS3 connected to it. The speakers are still good from the old system
I have looked at many recievers the one that sticks out is the onkyo tx-sr605.

what do you guys think?
What is the cheapest reciever i could go with? not that i want to go cheap but my budget is really tight right now. the highests i can go is about 500 total.

Here are the specs of my old reciever:
Power output stereo : 80 Watts x 2 into 8 Ohms, 20-20 kHz
Power output surround: 80 Watts X 5 Surround Mode, into 8 ohms,
Surround: Dolby Digital/dts/Dolby Pro Logic decoding
Power handling (Front/Rear Speakers): 100 Watts Maximum
Power handling (Center Speakers) : 100 Watts Maximum
Front/rear speaker dimensions: 3.1 x 5.5 x 4.7 inches
Center speaker dimensions: 9 x 3.1 x 4.7 inches
Subwoofer dimensions: 10.7 x 12.8 x 15.9 inches
Receiver dimensions: 17 x 5.7 x 11.7 inches

Thanks in advance

Too bad - seriously. Yamaha's RX-V663 (RX-V661 replacement) will be out in a couple of weeks (can be pre-ordered from J&R right now for the same $$) and should be a real competitor to the 605.
