Fox and Universal has licensed a number of classic titles to Criterion. Spartacus and Young Mr. Lincoln are two such films, that come to mind, that the Studio or Distributor released themselves even after the Criterion release. Spartacus was first released by Universal before Criterion, but then released SD last year, along with the HD version, and last year's Ford at Fox included the Criterion labeled version of Young Mr. Lincoln. My question is: will Fox itself release some of the film noir titles that Criterion has and will Universal distribute some of the 1930s Paramount titles it has, such as Trouble In Paradise or it's own 1940's The Killers and Naked City?
