Re: Official HD-DVD Thread
The sticky Blu-ray thread is for Q&A w/ industry insiders. Presumably, if HD DVD insiders made themselves available for similar Q&A, then we'd have a sticky thread for that also. HTF has other similar type threads/forum sections for Q&A w/ industry people, so it's definitely not something exclusive to (or even originated w/) Blu-ray.
The other so called "official" threads are not sticky and just depend on member participation as usual.
And oh yes, pardon my manners.

Re: Official HD-DVD Thread?
Hmmm... You just got here -- and don't seem to bother to understand how things work. Why be so confrontational about this already?

RE: certain linked threads dedicated to HDD, if HDD owners wanted to post in them, then such threads would stay on the front page and would not drift into oblivion -- that's just how most internet forums work. I have no idea why we don't seem to have any HDD insiders participate here. Well, NVM, actually, we do. Did you check out the
HDD Combo Disc issues sticky thread over in the HD Software section for instance?
Anyway, what's up w/ being so confrontational from the get-go?
Peace...

Re: Official HD-DVD Thread?
Feel free to jump on the Kevin or Ken Graffeo threads if you have specific things to discuss about Microsoft or Universals involvement. While I can't say either follows those threads regularly, it's your best bet. AFAIK we dont have direct industry lines to either Paramount or Toshiba, and those 4 companies are the only ones that really matter at this point... So there ya go.
