Where is Judging Amy?

Am wondering why this show hasn't been released on DVD yet its on TV quite a bit and I see the odd episode but its on sometimes at 3am and can't stay up and watch it all the time and I don't have a VCR, dvd recorder or Tivo. This is listed as 54th most wanted on tvshowsondvd.com
It says the rights are owned by 20th Century Fox how good are they with putting out TV DVD's or are there issues with music etc.

Anyone have any idea?

saw this on wikipedia
"In an interview for the new series Private Practice, Amy Brenneman admitted that CBS Productions is actually stalling a DVD release of the series as it works against their favour financially, while 20th Century Fox Television is in full support of the release as it is in their favour financially. She went on to admit that it will require a grassroots movement and that she fully encourages and has been pushing for the release of the DVDs"

I hope they release it soon

Nikki, I actually talked about that at TVGuide.com almost a year ago now, in my now-defunct "DVD Guy" blog:

These issues are the same reason they never went ahead with a two-hour TV MOVIE to wrap up the series' plotlines.

What I wonder is why Fox and CBS would make a deal in the first place that was bad financially? Perhaps CBS never expected the series to do as well as it did?

really wish they would resolve the issue and release this show. One of my top choices for a show on DVD along with Cold Case, another show with issues
