Re: Little House On the Prairie?
I own all 10 sets, and I watch an episode each week. I don't see what's wrong with em. (They are certainly better than the stuff the networks try to pass off as "Entertainment" these days, and unlike the episodes they show on Cable, they do not have those annoying "Bugs, Banners and Pop-Ups, not to mention the "Breaks"!)

If Universal has the negatives, forget it. Their in-house transfer costs are astronomical.

Re: Little House On the Prairie?
I picked up seasons 1 and 2 at Target today. They are on sale this week for $17.99 each (reg. price 24.99). They have been repackaged in a slimmer Amray Case Packaging. I had read that the discs originally came in digipak-style Packaging. Bummed that there is no episode guide, so you don't know which episode is on which disc. But anyway, I was happy to pick this up for the price.
I originally wanted to get the complete series, but it is expensive and $200 is lot to spend at one time. Also, it takes me forever to watch a season's worth of episodes, so there is no hurry for me to have all 10 seasons at once.
I'm pretty sure the discs are the same as the previous sets because I watched the first disc, and the opening titles are only shown once at the beginning and not on the other episodes.
