Please Help!!!!!

I have a Technics Power Amp (SE-A900S) & a Technics Pre-Amp (SU-C800U) plus a Technics Sound Processor (SH-AC300) and I want to connect the all together and get the best out of them but I don't know how.

I have 2 front speakers, 2 sorrounds, a centre & a subwoofer so this Power Amp don have outputs for the sorround, centre & sub, so I don know what to put in or to add that will give/convert the signal for these, I thought the processor will do but I got it wrong.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Re: How to connect these Technics components

You'll need some more power amplifiers. The SHAC300 manual is here.

Re: How to connect these Technics components

Ok, I see. If I take out completely this Processor completely what should I add or do to get a 5.1 sound / output so I can connect all my speakers. By the way this amplifier is a 4 channel.

Re: How to connect these Technics components

They look sort of like this, do they not?

If so, it looks like the amplifier only accepts a single stereo. A two channel amp that can drive two pairs of speakers (playing the same thing)

Again, you'd need four more channels of amplification, You might get better use of your equipment by..

1. Ditching the surround preprocessor. it's obsolete.
2. Buying a A/V receiver with pre-outs.
3. Connecting the front pre outs of the receiver to the power amplifier.
4 Connect the front speakers to the power amp, and the subwoofer, centre, and surround speakers to the receiver.

Or you could buy a three or four channel power amplifier.
