And I certainly hope is NOT RELEASED on this cheap budget label, called - what is it - Legend Films!?!
I'd almost rather make do with my Laser than have this film released on DVD in a real half-assed manner. (Excuse my French)

1492 is available in PAL region 4, Australia, in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby digital 5.1. I have a copy and the video and audio are excellent. This version includes expanded scenes that maybe add a minute or two to the running time. I have always believed this was the perfect movie to re-master into an extended version running 3+ hours. Who knows maybe it will happen someday, but for now the region 4 is the best version available.
