Re: SPHE Press Release: REVOLVER

I hope this isn't considered a thread-crap, or irrelevant for the software section, but I feel compelled (much like in the Southland Tales thread) to warn fellow HTFers of the grave mistake I made when I chose to buy a ticket to see this disaster. I cannot stress the following enough.

Do not blind buy Revolver.

Not just bad. A new definition for the term. My emotional arc while seeing it started with boredom then to mild irritation then to frustration then to anger then finally to wild amusement. By the end I was finding the experience absolutely hilarious because the film was finding new ways to get worse and worse than I had at that point even considered possible. So it does have one redeeming feature. It breaks new ground. You might think you understood what pretentious material was. You don't. You can't. Not until you've seen Revolver.

One to avoid, literally like the plague.

Just watch this and I could not agree more. I had much the same reaction as you. What a mess.
