LOS ANGELES, CA – MGM Home Entertainment celebrates the recent anniversary of one of the greatest character-driven dramas in film history when 12 Angry Men: 50th Anniversary Edition comes to trial on DVD March 4. Directed by five-time Oscarâ nominee Sidney Lumet (The Verdict, Dog Day Afternoon) in his feature film directorial debut, and written by award winning playwright Reginald Rose, 12 Angry Men provides an intense look at a jury of 12 men whom are sent to deliberate the final verdict in the murder trial of a young Latino boy. What unfolds is a gripping character study where the personality of each juror is revealed and the facts of the case become evidently clear.
Nominated for three Academy Awardsâ including Best Picture, Best Director (Lumet) and Best Screenplay (Rose), 12 Angry Men stars Henry Fonda and features a legendary supporting cast that includes Lee J.
