Its coming along. Just attaching a few pics to show what happens when you do get the wife involved. She was instrumental in getting our 1st Home Theater/Family Room complete. Now that we have a single home out in the country (as apposed to the townhouse previously), another empty canvas with enough basement sqaure footage to seperate the Home Theater from the rest of the basement and house. All walls are insulated and homebrew acoutic panels will added to further reduce sound transmission to other parts of the home.

A few firsts in this room as compared to HT #1 are built-in cabinetry, pot lights in the ceiling, and a 36" wide door (on a 27 degree angle no less). The door was a challenge considering its the first time we've ever had a need to install a door from scratch. Its level and closes properly but there are a few noticable "oopsies". The wider than normal door will be great for future sofa changes and hauling other big items in and out of the room.

Please feel free to critique and remember its not done yet. Walls were wired for 5.1 only.
