Rome’s Ray Stevenson Debuts on DVD March 11
Culver City, CA (January 2, 2008) – Ray Stevenson (TV’s “Rome,” King Arthur) stars in Outpost, a gut-wrenching, action packed horror film in the tradition of Predator & The Descent, which makes its DVD debut March 11 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Richard Brake (Hannibal Rising, Doom, Batman Begins) and Julian Wadham (The English Patient, Exorcist) co-star in Outpost which will be available for $24.96 SRP.
During World War II, in an Eastern European town ravaged by the war, a mysterious businessman hires an ex-marine named DC (Stevenson) to assemble a crack team of ex-soldiers to protect him on a journey into no-man's land to scope out an old military bunker. They accept the mission, thinking it will be an easy 48 hours and easy cash. However, once at the outpost, the men discover the remnants of a bloody and gruesome series of wartime experiments. Amid the carnage, they find something even more disturbing - a survivor. As war rages above ground, a mysterious enemy emerges from the darkness below, and DC and his men soon become trapped in a claustrophobic and terrifying scenario. Now, together, they must discover why they were brought there and what it is killing them off, one by one … before it’s too late.
