I am not a regular viewer of the Roses Parade. It's usually on for a while every year in the morning. Not sure about the last few years, this year it's broadcast with ESPN anchors I guess. I don't have cable TV or watch ESPN, so these people are not familiar to me.
I miss the use of ABC TV stars in the role of co-anchors. Seems wrong using ESPN anchors. I guess this broadcast is now under the management of the sports division of ABC. Some time ago, and I am not up to speed on all the divisions of ABC, ESPN must have merged with ABC, and they seem to be cross pollinating broadcasts that involve Sporting events. I first noticed it a few years ago with the motorsports coverage. I don't watch any of the football games after, but I guess it makes sense for the Sports division to run the Rose Parade broadcast too.
Brave New World! Will Regis and Kelly be replaced for next year's Disney Holiday Parade? Horrors!!
