Re: What tv show would you love to see in HD?
The Twlight Zone. The HD-origin remasters in the Definitive Edition season sets look fantastic and I'd imagine they would be spectacular in 1080p (1.33:1 windowboxed of course).
Maybe also The Outer Limits (original series). Conrad Hall shot a lot of the episodes and the cinematography is awesome.

After watching The Simpsons Movie in BD it would be great to see what they could do with the series if remastered in 1080p, as long as it's OAR.
I'll second The Twilight Zone.
For me to seriously consider repurchases I'll have to see a serious improvement in the way they plan and execute releases:
—Restoration and remastering is a must.
—Videotaped shows will gain no increase in picture quality, so just try to see how few discs you can comfortably fit entire series
—They should consider entire series at once.

Alias. This show cries out for HD and lossless.

I'd like to see Karen Sisco get any sort of release, but even better if HD. Yeah, I know, pipe dream.

Re: What tv show would you love to see in HD?
I wouldn't hold my breath for any TV shows made from about 1987 through about 2003 or 2004. Almost all TV shows from that period, while being shot on film, were edited on 480i video.
Almost every TV show made at that time would have to have every episode completely rescanned from the camera negative, re edited (assuming the editing notes still exist to know which takes were used) and all effects shots re created at 1080p. In some cases this may take longer and be more expensive than it was to create the original shows in the first place.
Shows such as The X-Files, Buffy, Star Treks TNG, DS9, Voyager and babylon 5 are all in this predicament.
As to shows from before that era that were completed on film, I'd like to see....
The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
I Spy
The Six Million Dollar Man
Perry Mason
Mission Impossible
The Big Valley
Hawaii 5 O
Magnum P.I.
Peter Gunn
Starsky & Hutch
Star Trek: Enterprise (post was done in HD and season four was shot on HD video)
The Twilight Zone
I'd also love to see some of the old Disney Wonderful World of Color shows on HD.

See above comments about the problems with Star Trek:TNG and other late 80s and 90s shows making it to HD.

Me, too. Even on DVD a comprehensive collection of non-recycled (theatricals and cartoons) material not already released would be welcome.
