Well, not everyone has been in the BD game as long as you, some actually just got into the game today with their Xmas presents, and need some deals (relatively speaking) to feed their new presents.

At least you are catching on to marketing strategy of BD and the limited offerings within the BD sales.

It makes me wonder how much real sales these B1G1F/B2G1F offers are generating anymore, considering it's the same limited titles being offered. Lately I have not been able to find even a single title that interests me from these sales and I suspect the same applies to a lot of others. I suppose it makes for a good way, for those who might have just gotten into HD over the holidays, to get started on a HD collection. But unless they add some more titles, I don't really see them generating much sales any more, thru such promotions.

The BD B1G1F/B2G1F sales aren't doing much is the conclusion I would come to. The big sellers each week are the new releases that aren't included. If there are a couple of titles of interest, most of us already have purchased them but for the new Blu-ray player owners there is a reason to continue to run them, otherwise the inventory of those titles will sit on shelves forever. It just doesn't mean much to the tiny market that is buying Blu-ray so far. I hope we see some newer titles promoted and discounted heavily soon.
