Re: Amazon Blu-ray Sale, up to 50% off

Ive seen several of these now-around 50% off BR-is this the spreading the good cheer-or trying to move product thats collecting dust?

I know that BR is outselling HD, but overall maybe sales of ALL HD are underwhelming?

I know you dont usually discount stock that is already moving fast.

Saw a figure somewhere-probably the bits-20 million DVD players sold, vs
160,000 HD players sold this year (dont quote me)
Im just trying to see if I should dig in the heels and stick with S DVD or not.

Re: Amazon Blu-ray Sale, up to 50% off

It's just the typical competition of products early in their life. The same thing happened with DVD in the early years. I had a library of around 200 titles, most of which I never spent more than $13 for a title. It surely wasn't because they were collecting dust.

The second half the year Toshiba seemed more concerned with getting the price of the hardware down low. The BDA seemed to get the software price down low. Eitherway, there are sales all around and now with both having hardware and software sales.
The End.
