Pioneer Pro 107 Projector TV- Cable issue?

Hello, yes, i know this is a 14 year old tv! LOL! someone just gave us this model, and we are trying to hook our cable into it, but this tv does not seem to pick up a signal, but all our other tvs pick up cable fine.

we are putting the cable into the back of the tv where it says "antena 1 and 2" neither one seem to pick up a signal from the cable company. are we doing something wrong? i am unable to find a manual on this beast as well... otherwise i would just look in there, so i'm hoping someone has an answer for us...

any help is greatly appreciated.

AH, just fyi, we fixed the problem. we just ran the cable thru our dvd player and we are now able to get cable tv-so no need to reply.
