Through random amazon browsing I saw a link to the Star Trek III soundtrack with a pricetag of $99.00: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Trek-III-...pd_sim_m_img_2

Is this disc really that rare?

Re: Star Trek III soundtrack OOP?

Can't believe it's THAT rare! I bought my ST:II & III cd's years ago when they first came out because I wore both of my copies of ST:III cassettes.

Re: Star Trek III soundtrack OOP?

There is a group of people who are serious collectors of score soundtrack CDs, myself included. Although, I wouldn't pay $99 for any soundtrack CD. James Horner is also one of the most popular soundtrack compsers.

When I was copying CD covers for my iTunes collection I found several OOP CDs that were priced at $50 or more. The OOP History of the Dave Clark Five CD has a price of nearly $50.
