Sure. There are three basic families of hair color: Blonde, brunette and redhead. Age related grey and silver/white don't count. Blonde embraces everything from near-white platinum blonde to gold to the reddish-gold of strawberry blonde. "Brunette" likewise covers everything from light brown to jet black, because there is really no "hair color word" for black hair.
