Not sure how many Gov't Mule fans we have here, but here's what the fellas did...

This year Gov’t Mule decided to put on a very special Halloween show - they performed "Houses of the Holy" from start to finish as their second set. And Mr. Audley Freed joined them on guitar for the entire thing.

Set II

The Song Remains The Same
The Rain Song
Over The Hills and Far Away
The Crunge
Dancing Days >
Drums
D’Yer Mak’er
No Quarter
The Ocean

Thanks. I'm only through the Rain Song, but I'm enjoying it so far.

Saw Gov't Mule open for DMB a few years ago and thought they were pretty good live. I will be very interested to hear this.

Over the Hills didn't really work for me. I guess this singer doesn't have the range to hit those notes. Dancing Days is pretty phenomenal, though.

This is my favorite Zep album, in spite of the fact that I'm not that fond of either the Crunge or D'yer. They're okay. GM did pretty well with the Crunge.

Wow, I bet that rocked. DMB is my favorite band and GM is definitely up there as well! IMO, GM is bar none, one of the best live bands working today. I saw them last month at the Tabernacle in ATL and they rocked the house.

Yeah, Warren couldn't quite hit the notes that Robert Plant does in OtHaFA, but since it's my favorite Led Zep tune played by one of my favorite bands, I can forgive him! Yeah, Dancing Days is quite good as is No Quarter. I saw them play NQ live at Bonnaroo '07 with John Paul Jones and it really shined, as did Living Loving Maid.
