Re: 24: Season Seven

All should be better next season.
Warning Spoiler! Click to show
I hear they have already cast Freddie Prinze Jr. as the head of CTU field ops.
Kidding aside, I'll give him a chance, but I think I would rather have Rick Schroeder with an eye patch.

Re: 24: Season Seven

Regarding Ken's spooiler, I've learned my lesson, these past few years, to definately not judge an actor by their previous credits. Cases in point: Brian Austin Green in "The Sarah Connor Chronicles," and Joshua Jackson in "Fringe." Both actors suprised the hell out of me with just how good they are, given the proper vehicle.

Re: 24: Season Seven

^what josh said.

my beef is didn't the writers have MONTHS and MONTHS to plan the entire season out? it still feels like they were writing these episodes on the fly and just nonsensically throwing things in there for no good reason.

is it cause jon cassar lefT?

to the edge of eternity and depth of infinity, stupidity knows no bound.

Same here. It also helps that I've only seen him in one movie so his presence doesn't bother or excite me.

That being said, I'm sure that will be a prime bitching point for people next season.

EDIT:

At the beginning of the year, they generally plan about 6 episodes. Then they have to see what's working story-wise and what actors are interesting and they go from there. If they planned out a year and an important element of the story or actor wasn't working then they'd be screwed because everything could be hung on that non-functioning element.

They wrote the show that way before Jon Cassar came on.
