In 2008 it is Cyndi Lauper's 25th Anniversary in the music industry as a solo artist. To help celebrate this anniversary we are starting a Re-Issues Campaign.
The Cyndi Lauper Re-Issue Campaign is an effort to have her first 3 recordings that Cyndi Lauper released on the Portrait & Epic labels re-issued in CD format with extra tracks. Many fans feel that this period was the peak of Lauper's career and abilities. In addition to re-issuing Cyndi Lauper's CDs, we are campaigning for the release of a DVD Collection containing all her videos never released before on any format.
Unfortunately, Portrait / Epic (now a member of the Sony / BMG family) have left most of their Cyndi Lauper library to gather dust in the vaults. We hope to show that there is still a great demand for these works.
