Top Gun

This was not on my must have list but since I was somewhat desperate considering the lack of anything decent on HD - for my tastes anyway - I decided to give this a try. I have to admit it looks great and the Dolby True HD audio is a definite improvement. I did notice quite a drop in the sound level when I switched from the Dolby Digital Plus though. Simple enough, turn up the volume!
If you like this film then I doubt anyone will be disappointed, this is a very good transfer to HD.

Brent,
I don't know which HD DVD player you have, but make sure you have the dialog enhancement feature turned off when playing a Dolby True HD soundtrack. That feature works great with DD or DD+, but has no effect on Dolby True HD.
