"Vantage Point" (2008) discussion thread

Outstanding trailer on the HDNet show "Nothing But Trailers" got me researching this movie. It has a tentative Feb 2008 release.
A star-studded cast including Sigourney Weaver, Dennis Quaid, Forest Whitaker, Matthew Fox and William Hurt.
Pete Travis is the director and I know nothing about him.
Looks like an interesting take on a presidential assassination storyline. A good way to describe it is a cross between "Rising Sun" and "Shooter" perhaps?
Any comments welcome.

I hope the "twists" they give away in the trailer happen in the first thirty seconds of the movie. Otherwise I will feel cheated.
