Ghostlight -- in the bottom righthand corner of Melissa's post you should see a SEND NEW PM button. Click it and that should allow you to create a PM.

You can also click the UserName and it will give you a Private Message option as well as an email if the user has their email linked to the sight. My experience with the email function has been spotty over the years however -- sometimes the message goes through, sometimes it never arrives.
