I recently attended 2 dating events that were sponsored by different companies here in DFW. I was surprised to hear that there are a lot more available single women than men. One event was almost canceled because there weren't enough men. The other company does not accept any new women members because there aren't enough guys to go around - this singles mixer had about 70% women attending.
I had been living outside the USA for 4 years, so this is all news to me.
I had taken it as given that there are more guys actively looking for women than vice versa because guys will spend money on anything, are hornier, and women seem to give up too easily and become homebodies.
I am interested to hear from other HTF members who are part of the dating scene to see if they concur.
