Led Zeppelin to re-release The Song Remains the Same

According to led-zeppelin.com ( http://www.led-zeppelin.com/news/# )
TSRTS is going to be re-released with the added 4 songs they had on the DVD set. It should include 4 songs not originally in the movie or soundtrack,
including Over the Hills and Far Away.

It also sounds like they are going to remaster the audio.

Personally, I can't wait. It'll be nice to see (and hear!) the Ocean from this era.

If it's not worth waiting until the last minute to do, then it's not worth doing.

For some, its even better than that...

The release that I read said that it would also be on BluRay and HD-DVD. The thought of an uncompressed PCM sound track has me salivating, so long as its not mastered like most contemporary rock titkes (i.e. maximized and compressed to hell).

Since Jimmy Page himself chimed in on this I think the audio on the Blu/HD DVD should be killer! A must-buy for me.

My guilty pleasure finally arrives!!!

They've been promising a remastered TSRTS for years now, finally looks like it will happen.

I'll buy the BD version as well...

Now I have two reasons to jump on probably BD: this, and Blade Runner.
