"I Love You But I Ain't Gonna Be Your Fool"

Ann-Margret guested on a Flintstones episode, and sang this song. It was left off the "Flintstones: Stone Age Melodies."

Buy the Laserdisc or VHS of the cartoon.

Rachael, the big disc cat! I used to be looking for Hi-Vision Laserdiscs & D-Theater tapes, now I'm looking for HD-DVD's and Blu-rays.

I survived the AFI top 100 Film Challenge! I've seen them all.

Actually, I meant I wanted it in CD format.

You'll have to make your own. If you had the Laserdisc, you could dub it right off it. The LD I have with it just cost me $7 in the discount bin and it has 3 other episodes of the show.

You might search novelty CD's to see if the song ever made one of those discs. That's proably a longshot...?

If money is no object, and you really like Ann Margaret, you can get "I Ain't Gonna Be Your Fool No More" in stereo on the 5-disc Bear Family Ann Margaret box set that covers 1961-1966. It's available as an import for around US$160, but you can probably find it used for more like US$100.

Regards,

What's funny is that I already have that version. I want the Flintstones version because it has Fred and Barney singing with Ann-Margrock at the end of the song. Adds to it immensely.

I'll never understand why they didn't put it on the Flintstones TV soundtrack (unless Ann-Margret had a problem with it, or the owners of that material, which seems more likely).
