...that you want others to hear on a compilation CD, what would it be?

I'm looking for a song that:
  • is probably not already known by everyone on earth (but doesn't necessarily HAVE to be obscure)
  • is musically and lyrically solid, clever, and/or original
  • can be any genre
  • would cause others to say, "dang - that's the best cut on the CD!"
So far I'm considering:
  • Hallelujah by John Cale
  • London Calling by the Clash
  • I Still Have That Other Girl by Elvis Costello
  • Follow Me by Uncle Kracker
I will consider all suggestions.
