Absolutely! That's actually one of the things that impressed me about the show, the pacing and how it gives us steady amounts of information and doesn't become meandering...it knows when to give up it's secrets at just the right moments without dragging things out unlike some other shows I know of, I won't name names but it rymes with Lost, whoops.
Warning Spoiler! Click to showThe ending with the Trager's was the emotional payoff for me, it's what I was most looking foreward to seeing and it didn't disappoint.
With regards to Kyle, probably the thing I like most is that Kyle's social awareness is now at a level where he has developed a personality and voice all his own, his vocabulary and intellect have increased to the point where he is no longer just a bystander in his own story but an active participant, able to protest and challenge those around him, like when he told Foss that he would not harm anyone, his tone and assertiveness is worlds removed from the quiet blank slate he was in the pilot.
I was shocked when Adam was killed, it was tragic because Kyle still had so many questions and now he's left to find the answers on his own, it's the classic scenario of the mentor not being able to stay and leaving the student to grow on his own, which is necessary I think.
Jesse, aka product 781228, will be an enemy to Kyle I believe, at least that's what the previews have suggested. The stuff with mom was great I thought when taken within the context it was presented, she had developed a strong motherly bond with Kyle and she felt something was very wrong, if one places themself in that position you'd be distracted too I think.
Yes, Kyle's admittance of love for the Trager's made me smile, in fact I can honestly say that all the sci stuff aside, and it's great don't get me wrong, it's the family stuff that get's me, I simply love this television family.
