XA1 upgrade issues

Anyone have any problems with the new upgrade? My player won't read a lot of my discs when I load them (both HD and SD.) It does't even tell me. Just nothing happens. I have to unplug the power from the player and plug it back in because it won't let me shut it down. And it's all random too. Don't understand...

Are you talking about firmware 2.1? I don't have it yet but I heard a lot of people have problems with it if their connection is HDMI>DVI. If you have a 2.0 disc you can just flash it back and you shouldn't have a problem.
