Shopping at the Discovery Channel Store in my local mall, I noticed for sale two Mythbusters DVD sets labeled "Season One, Volume One" and "Season One, Volume Two." Though I was interested in purchasing them, I always like to do my homework first, so I decided to go home and search the Internet for reviews to see exactly what I was getting. My usual source for this kind of information is tvshowsondvd.com, but that site, strangely, had no entry for either of these box sets--only for several individual releases.

I then decided to compare the contents of the DVDs, as listed on the Discovery Channel's online store, to the episode list on Wikipedia. Wikipedia listed season one as comprising 13 episodes, and season two as comprising 24episodes. The strange part is that the "Season One, Volume One" DVD contains the entire 13-episode first seasons, while the "Season One, Volume Two" DVD contains the first 11 episodes of the second season.

Does anyone know the reason for this discrepancy?
