I still have not forgiven them for the insult that was "Mama's Family: The 'Complete' First Season."

And I'm growing old waiting for more Knots Landing, Alice, and other shows.

Re: Home Theater forum chat with Warner Home Video Family Entertainment and TV on May 7

from the past two times, it seems like Warner always sets up to disappoint. We'll hear about yet another Friends repackaging and one or two "well duh" sets that we know are coming (like further Full House or something), but everything else will be "no plans"

Re: Home Theater forum chat with Warner Home Video Family Entertainment and TV on May 7

I have missed out on the past chats, but I will be there this time! I'll ask them about Homefront, and hopefully get an answer. Maybe I'll even get the answer so many of us long to hear.

Thanks to Chris for the heads up about this chat!

Take care,
Sarah K.

I won't be able to attend the chat...can someone please ask if Roots is uncut? And if not, why not...the footage exists at the Museum of Television and Radio in New York City...thanks!

I could be wrong but I don't think that HTF wants anyone posting questions about specific titles before the chat takes place.

Don't forget about Night Court and the Dukes of Hazzard Reunion movies.

Correct.

Nice of them to do the chat, but for the past couple of years it's been a total waste of time.

I eagerly wait to read the transcript of the chat just to see this.

Re: Home Theater forum chat with Warner Home Video Family Entertainment and TV on May 7

I'm curious mostly to see if the fate of 'Everwood' on DVD has changed, the prospects of HD-DVD with TV-on-DVD, any idea of a 'complete series' for 'Gilmore girls' when the show ends, along with the prospect of seeing 'one-season-wonder' shows such as 'Glory Days,' 'Birds of Prey,' and 'Reunion'...

Re: Home Theater forum chat with Warner Home Video Family Entertainment and TV on May

I'm thinking of asking about releasing the original 1960-1962 The Bugs Bunny Show to DVD (in two season sets of 26 episodes each). They could colorize the missing color footage (which exists in B&W), then include the restored versions of the cartoons. I buy the Golden Collections every year, but I'd love to supplement them with the original TV series.

Tell The Weinstein Company to release Richard Williams' animated masterpiece The Thief and the Cobbler on DVD in Panavision widescreen and uncut! See and hear what you're missing from their Bitsy Award winner of Worst Standard Edition DVD of 2006 on YouTube!
