Shop at Safeway - Get 2 free movie tickets!

I thought this was a great deal that I had to share. The Safeway chain of stores [Tom Thumb in DFW] is offering a promotion where if you buy 10 of a certain product you get two free movie tickets.

I bought 10 Lean Cusine meals on sale for 2$ a piece [which is a great price in its own right] for $20. Then I received two free movie tickets worth up to $12 each. There is a list of participating theaters at www.moviecash.com - although on my tickets it shows the Angelika Film Center as participating whereas on the website it does not. The tickets expire on 6/30/2007.

Here is a link to what I am talking about:

http://shop.safeway.com/superstore/s...rpStoreID=3502 Click on the 2/28/07 Circular => and then pages 2 and 6.

I did this at another store and now I have 4 tickets. Sweet!! The promotion ends on 3/13/07.

If only I could fit 10 containers of Edy's in my freezer. That's about the only thing I saw that I buy regularly.

Well, I took my coupon to the Angelika and they honored it. I watched The Queen.

Then I went to Safeway and got another two tickets.

Re: Shop at Safeway - Get 2 free movie tickets!

In my home state of Washington, Safeway is #2 behind Walmart in the numberr of employees receiving state medical assistance and food stamps.

The company is scum.

You may be getting a good deal, but who pays for it eventually.

I'm with Tony.

Huh?

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!
