I picked up the Boogie Nights and Goodfellas special editions.

Less than $5 per disc. God bless America.

No Scooby-Doo, Andrea?!?!

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Anybody that makes an early morning run to Best Buy can you check if they are carrying Alias Smith and Jones, and how many copies they had. I know it's on the website but I'm wondering if it's in store. I have a gift card to spend their otherwise I would've gotten it from Amazon.

Dave, Have you tried Best Buy's Store Pickup option to check for availability of AS&J in your area?

Go to the item you are looking for (i.e. AS&J):
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....uct&id=1616414

Below the Add To Cart button, there are 2 options: Shipping and Store Pickup. Under the Store Pickup Option, there is a link to Select Preferred Store Availability:
Store Pickup: Available at most stores Select preferred store availability

Input your ZIP Code and it should give you a list of the 6 closest stores and the availability status by location: Add To Cart Button or a dim Unavailable. For instance, I just checked AS&J for my area, and 4 stores would allow me to add it to my cart (i.e. In Stock) and 2 stores show unavailable. You don't need to complete the transaction if you want to purchase it in store with a gift card, but at least you'll know which locations have it in stock.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Andrea its well worth it. Sadly we have gotten jammed by buying all the "individual" releases for the last few years so I have disc everywhere.

I need someone to make me a nice Scooby cover for all of these episodes so I can put them all in one case.

Anyway that release is a nice deal.

Can any of you guys talk me into The Prestige?? Everywhere I look it gets rave reviews but I just dunno .. what's it like??

The 2fer deal at BB almost makes a no brainer even though I have never seen this movie (the wife likes who's in it though)

Thanks

Re: Weekly RoundUp 2-20-2007

Several new unadvertised titles at Target that I saw tonight:
Dark Castle Horror Collection: $29.99!!! WAY cheaper than the other B&M's
Night of the Living Dorks: $14.99
Open Water 2: $19.99
For Your Consideration: $16.99 (I think)

Thought that the exclusive cover for Flushed Away was kinda cool...it's NOT lenticular (like most of Target's exclusive covers) but a clear plastic case with blue water inside that represents the water in the toilet. Very similar to the limited edition Saw packaging that was filled with "blood".
One of my favorite albums...

Liza Minnelli, "Results"
(One Broadway Icon + Pet Shop Boys = a guilty pleasure dance classic!)

I wonder how the whole "lenticular" thing even got started. I read that in a number of forums...but the Target ad never used the word "lenticular"...so I figured why climb out on a limb when you don't have to...even if Target had featured lenticular covers in the past. Guess that's the reporter in me. I wonder who was the first to start that?

Re: Weekly RoundUp 2-20-2007

The box says Shut Up and Dance has been modified from its original presentation. However it appears it was sourced from video according to IMDB and a DVD review. Can anyone confirm that this DVD is in the proper aspect ratio?

Re: Weekly RoundUp 2-20-2007

Anyone looking to purchase Penn & Teller: Bullshit! - The Complete Fourth Season this week might want to stop into their local FYE store. I bought it there yesterday and it rang-up at $19.99 (it had a $26.99 sticker). Their website says $24.99, so it must be the in-store sale price for this week.

Mike and Patrick,

As always, very much appreciated! Incidentally, the version of RAY that Circuit City is selling for $9.99 is the 2-disc edition.

Rob means Shut Up & Sing. An HTF thread on the subject is HERE.

MORE nice info, Jay...because the ad shows the single disc...and so does circuitcity.com!!! Might be a YMMV thing.

Mike,

Glad to help! It may well be a YMMV deal. I would not have known that it was the 2-disc version without picking it up and shaking it gently. Neither the spine nor the cover indicated that it was 2 discs. However, all of the copies in the bin sounded the same when shaken gently.
