Same for me. I just got TOS for Christmas for the 1st time. I didn't own the previous "volume" sets. I think the xfrs are outstanding and I like the menu navigations.
I'll be one of the longer "wait-types" for the HD DVD issues to stabilize.

It'll be a good chance to see how many episodes fit on an HD DVD. I read one report that said an entire season could fit on one. Guess we'll see.

Excellent! The new effects have improved with each episode. Nothing wrong with a little sprucing up and making the effects look current. Bring it on!
